What do you want your business to look like?

What would it take to stop playing defense and start getting into offense?

When you’re operating in default mode, relying solely on referrals, you’re operating from a defensive position. You need a system that allows you to consistently take action to get business.

You need to flip the script and ask yourself the hard questions about what you want your business to look like, who you want to work with, how you want to work with clients, how much money you want to make. When you get that clarity, you can make a plan.

It’s a lot easier said than done.

In this summer quickie, I’m going back to an episode with Amanda Silver.

Amanda Silver is a leadership consultant, coach and trainer for social change leaders and organizations.  She is passionate about creating thriving teams and cultures that get things done.  Her unique approach focuses on heart and mind leadership and draws on expertise in mindfulness, emotional-intelligence, and strength-based mindsets.

She shares how she used to be completely reliant on referrals for her business, which meant that she couldn't say no to clients. She had to take what she could get. And she was always scared. She didn't know where her next clients were coming from.

And she’ll share how she evolved her business to get the clients she really wanted and do the work she loves doing.
